??Eternal Torment or Annihilation??

Annihilation is defined as "total destruction" or "complete obliteration" of an object; having its root in the Latin nihil (nothing). A literal translation is "to make into nothing". In physics, the word is used to mean the process that occurs when a subatomic particle collides with its respective antiparticle. Since energy and momentum must be conserved, the particles are not actually made into nothing, but rather into new particles. Antiparticles have exactly opposite additive quantum numbers from particles, so the sums of all quantum numbers of the original pair are zero. Hence, any set of particles may be produced whose total quantum numbers are also zero as long as conservation of energy and conservation of momentum are obeyed. The damnable heresy of annihilation teaches that man has no conscious existence after he dies. False teachers of annihilation include: Jehovah’s Witnesses, Christadelphians, Seventh-day Adventists, Herbert W. Armstrong. They are WRONG according to the Bible!

It is the humble opinion of this old one that since the soul is eternal, it shall remember what happened before the body died a physical death. In the above Passage, the rich man died and found that he was in Hell. If anyone finds themselves in Hades, it is because they CHOSE to be there, while living their life here on Earth. Our God is a GOOD God, and He has multiple and sufficient warnings in His Book.

HADES, a holding place where the wicked will await the final judgment, and YES!!! You shall stand before Judge Jesus one day! When a person dies without Christ, they go to a place called Hell. This is actually Hades, the present day Hell. As I understand it, of yet, there is NO one in the eternal Hell, which is the Lake of Fire (Rev. 19:20). Antichrist and the False Prophet will be the first to occupy this horrid place.
Revelation 19:20  And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. The plea of millions of sinners on Judgment Day will go unheard! God has given us His Word as a warning and a Guide. If you are wise, you will pay attention to what God has said in the Bible! BUT, if you choose to follow wrong guides on wrong roads, which most people travel; you must go where most people will go, to the lake of fire. 

When those without Christ arrive in the temporary Hell, they will remain there, being tormented in the flame until the time of the Great White Throne Judgment.
Revelation 20:11-15 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12  And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. 13  And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. 14  And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. The Bible tells us that those in Hades (temporary holding place of the wicked) will not be there forever, but only until they are delivered up to the Final judgment and are judged according to their works. 2 Cor. 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. As I understand it, the wicked held in temporary Hades, will go before this terrifying great white throne to face Judge Jesus, Who IS Almighty God! After they are judged, they shall then be condemned to the permanent Hell, the lake of fire, where there are absolutely NO exits anywhere! As I sit here writing this, I cannot tell you how desperately I try to lead people to the RIGHT road that leads to Heaven. I pray constantly as I write, that as you read this, you may believe that there really IS a Hell, and that it is as bad as the Bible states. PLEASE believe this.

HADES is a temporary holding place of torment, that eventually brings you to the permanent HELL, the lake of fire. You do NOT want to go there.

Those who believe in annihilation say that when you burn paper, it is eternally destroyed and that is how we should view Hell. But, what does the Bible say?
John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (KJV)  
There are those who deny the full deity of the pre-existent Son of God who became incarnate in Jesus Christ. John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (KJV)

They hold that the Son, while divine and like God ("of like substance"), was CREATED by God as the agent through whom He created the universe. They say of the Son, "there was a time when he was not." They also believe that Heaven is a physical restored paradise upon the Earth.

The Truth is: the wicked will NOT be annihilated. It will be the present Heaven and Earth that will be annihilated! (Rev. 21& 22; Isa.65:17; 66:22-24; 2 Pet. 3:6-7, 10-13). Physical Creation will be annihilated, NOT mankind!
Malachi 4:1-3 For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. 2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. 3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts. Annihilationists do NOT believe in eternal conscious torment, which was widely believed in the ancient world. They say that Jesus incorporated false pagan doctrines into His teaching on Hell. This is utterly ridiculous for it would mean that Jesus promoted false doctrine. Jesus’ RIGHT teaching on ETERNAL conscious torment is absolutely TRUE. Believe it my friend!

Consider this from the Bible that proves there is NO Annihilation:
Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. The beast and the false prophet will be cast alive into the fiery lake (Hell), BEFORE the Millennial reign of Christ. 1000 years later, AFTER the Millennial reign of Jesus Christ, they are still there, when the LORD Jesus shall cast the devil himself into Hell, to join the beast and false prophet!

Why would anyone think Jesus was ignorant of what Gehenna meant to the common people of His day? Why would anyone think He was mistaken in using the graphic descriptions of Gehenna? BEWARE!!! To think these things is to do a great injustice to Him Who was the Greatest Teacher who ever lived. His language connected with Gehenna, such as "fire is not quenched" and "their worm dieth not," demonstrates beyond all doubt to any reasonable person that He deliberately used the word hell fire (Mat.5:22.29; 10:28; 23:15,33; 25:41) to impress upon His hearers that ETERNAL PUNISHMENT awaits the wicked after the resurrection. No other conclusion is possible. Mark 9:43-44 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
