WHAT DOES GOD HAVE TO SAY ABOUT SALVATION?

‘Salvation’ spiritual rescue from sin and death; saving of the soul  through the atonement of Jesus; redemption; preservation from everlasting destruction of Hell.

First of all, let me say that God cannot lie (Ps.146:6; Heb.6:18); second, God never changes,
but is always the same (Mal.3:6; Heb.13:8). Many people read the Bible and say: “That applied
‘back then’ but not now!” “Times have changed!” Yes, times have changed, but God has NOT changed!
He has NOT changed, and His plan of salvation has not changed, nor will it ever change!  BELIEVE HIM!
It does not matter what color you are. It does not matter in which country you or your
parents originated. It does not matter what your culture or religion. What does matter is your relationship to Almighty God and His precious Son, Jesus! Do you believe God?
Hebrews 11:6  But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Believing God exists, is just the tip of the iceberg. Even the demons believe this (Jam.2:19).
This verse also tells us that without ‘faith’ we cannot please God. We must believe what God says in His Word. If we don’t, we are calling God a ‘LIAR’.
1 John 5:10-12He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the record that God gave of his Son. 11And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
God very plainly tells us here we must believe Him! If we do not believe ‘the record’, that God does give us eternal life, and the only way to get this ‘life’ is through Jesus, we are lost! We are
doomed to the pits of Hell. We have an eternal soul, and that soul shall spend eternity
somewhere; either in Heaven, with God, or in Hell, forever without God (2 Thes.1:8-9).
John 3:15  That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
If we believe in Jesus as Saviour and Lord, we will have eternal life.

John 3:16  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
True love is never self-centered; but always reaches out to help and benefit others. God loved the world (us) so much, that He made a way possible for us to enter Heaven.
That ‘WAY’ is His only begotten Son, Jesus! And friend, He is the only ‘WAY’!
If you want everlastinglife, Jesus is the only way to achieve it. He and He alone!

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
When Christ came the first time, all those years ago, He came as Saviour. At HisSecond
Coming, He will come as Judge; of everyone who has ever lived.

John 3:18  He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

If we believe in Jesus, we are not ‘condemned’ (judged to Hell). But IF we reject Him and
what He did for us on the Cross, God states very plainly, we are already judged! Please do not reject Jesus, nor simply ignore Him. You cannot work or buy your way to Heaven. Jesus has already done everything to give you access to Heaven; all you need do, is have faith and accept Jesus and His Work on the Cross. Jesus paid it all . . . for you! Accept the ‘gift’ of salvation, now!

John 1:12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Jesus has power, unlimited! When you accept (receive) Him,He places you in the family of God; you become one of God’s children, forever! Again, this is possible only through Jesus!

John 1:13Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Only God can make you His child (only through Jesus).

John 3:36He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
If you ‘believe on Jesus’ you have everlasting life, in Heaven, with God. If you refuse to ‘believe on Jesus’you shall not even “SEE” the Kingdom of God (Jn.3:3) let alone go there. And if you don’t go to Heaven, there is only one other eternal destination left; HELL!

John 10:9  I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
Jesus is the only ‘Door’ to Heaven. You go through Him, or you do NOT go!

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Salvation (eternal life in Heaven, with God) can come only through Jesus! You absolutely cannot get to God (Heaven) unless you go through Jesus!

Acts 4:12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
There is NO ONE, not a pastor, not a priest, not the pope, not Marywho has any power to save your soul from Hell; ONLY JESUS!God says so, here, and many other places!

Ephes. 2:8-9For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:   9Not of works, lest any man should boast.
God says we must have ‘faith’ (believing what He says) to receive the ‘gift’ of salvation. A ‘gift’ is free! You do NOT work for it, nor do you buy it. If you did, it would not be a gift! This gift God offers (to everyone) is the utmost; the ultimate gift. No one can offer a greater gift than eternal life! It is readily available to all, yet most choose to reject it. And God makes salvation so simple that even a child can attain it. It is this simplicity that deters so many. Such a shame!

Romans 5:1Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
‘Justified’ means we are declared ‘NOT GUILTY’ in the courts of Heaven. Justified =‘just as if I’d never sinned’!We have peace with God the Fatherbecause we have trusted Jesus to save us.
Now, when God looks down on us; He no longer sees us, and our vile, hateful sins; He sees the
Blood of His precious Son, which has washed us and made us clean (spiritually). God will never turn His Back on the Precious Blood Of Jesus!

Romans 5:2By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Another tremendous blessing we have through Jesus is that we have access to the Throne of God (by prayer). If you are not God’s child, by trusting Christ, God will not hear your prayers.

John 9:31Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.
“Doing His will” is repenting of your sin: admitting God is right, and you are wrong, and believing Him, by accepting Jesus to save you from a burning Hell.

John 10:27-30  My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: 28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.  30I and my Father are one.
God’s children are ‘His sheep’. Jesus is the ‘Shepherd’. Just as shepherds protect their flocks from danger; so too, does Jesus protect us from eternal danger (Hell). Once you are God’s child, Satan can never harm your soul! Once you become God’s child, NO ONE can ever take you away from Him, NO ONE can ever ‘pluck you out of His Hand’ ever!

Romans 8:38-39For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
These verses giveus wonderful comfort. The ‘things’ listed above, include EVERY possible aspect in life. We as God’s children will have to face difficulties at times; persecution, fear, pain, sickness, suffering, oppression, hatred, imprisonment, etc., even death. But, once you know Jesus as your personal Saviour and Lord,you need never fear that He will ever abandon you.
He will never leave you, nor ever forsake you (Heb.13:5-B). It is absolutely impossible to be separated from Jesus, because His Spirit abides within you forever (Jn.14:16-17; Rom.8:9; 1 Jn.2:27).

He is always there for you! Do you know Jesus as Saviour? If not, open your heart’s door and let Him in. He’s the only One that is able to grant salvation (eternal life) to you.
