Judgments on Homosexuals?

What does the Bible say?

QUESTIONS to think about: #1. Will God judge America and the world because of the wide-spread homosexual outbreak? #2. Is homosexuality now being accepted as a normal alternative lifestyle in the USA? #3. Is it right for so-called "Christian" churches to "ordain" homosexual "pastors"? #4. Does homosexual behavior bring on God's wrath more so than other sins? #5. Does the Bible really address the issue of homosexuality? #6. IF it does, should the historic Christian position AGAINST it be taken seriously? #7. Should a TRUE Christian pay heed to the inspired Word of God?

Will God judge America? YES! I believe God shall judge the USA for homosexuality and all her other sins.

Is Homosexuality being accepted as a "normal alternative lifestyle"? Yes! Look around!

Is it right for so-called "Christian" churches to "ordain" homosexual "pastors"? NO! A homosexual man or lesbian woman has NO right to be a pastor! God does NOT accept them in His eyes!

Does homosexual behavior bring on God's wrath more so than other sins? . . . God hates ALL sin!

Does the Bible really address the issue of homosexuality? Yes! Absolutely! (Gen.18 &19; Lev.18:22; 20:13; Jud.19:1-30; Rom.1:18-28; 1 Cor.6:9-10; 1 Tim.1:8-10).

IF it does, should the historic Christian position AGAINST it be taken seriously? Yes! Absolutely! If you do not take the Bible seriously, you will be trying to make excuses on Judgment Day! Your excuses won't be worth a hill of beans!

Should a TRUE Christian pay heed to the inspired Word of God? Yes! Same answer as above!

2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. (KJV) . . . Let us SERIOUSLY consider this Passage. ALL Scripture is given by inspiration of God! NOT just a portion, NOT just bits and pieces that suit you fancy! ALL Scripture is profitable for doctrine! NOT just parts of it! ALL of it! ALL Scripture is profitable for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness! ALL of it, and that includes the parts about homosexuality being abominable in God's eyes! It also includes the judgment that shall result IF there is NO repentance! God's Holy Word is there for us to learn the ways of God and avoid His Holy and righteous WRATH! It seems that people today are NOT taking advantage of the wisdom within the Bible's Holy pages!

Where is the first mention of homosexuality? . . . Some say Genesis 18:16-19, 29 but in my opinion, it is Gen.13:10-13. Genesis 13:10-13 And Lot lifted up his eyes, and beheld all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered every where, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, even as the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as thou comest unto Zoar. 11 Then Lot chose him all the plain of Jordan; and Lot journeyed east: and they separated themselves the one from the other. 12 Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom. 13 But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly. (KJV)

Did the Mosaic Law mention homosexual practice? . . . YesLeviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. (KJV) Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them. (KJV)

Does the New Testament mention homosexuality? . . . Yes! Rom.1:24-32; 1 Cor. 6:9-11; 1 Tim. 1:8-11; Jude 1:7. These Passages tells us about the fallen condition of mankind and the terrible results of that fall. Homosexuality is burning or lusting after those of the same sex. This condition goes back to God's Law given to Moses, and the moral law established in the conscience of ALL people, that reveals God's nature to us, and how He expects us to behave. ALL sins are seen by God to be guilty enough to deserve death. There were 18 capital offenses in the written law of Moses and homosexuality is one of them.

Are we to follow the Mosaic Law as the law of the Gentile lands we live in? . . . No. The Jews have the Mosaic Covenant that has 613 laws. Christians have the Messianic Covenant through JesusOur laws are as follows: Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (KJV)

Does God require all sinners to be put to death? . . . Yes, in Christ! Galatians 2:19-21 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. 20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. (KJV). . . All TRUE Christians are considered to have been executed (crucified) for their capital crimes (sins) against the Creator. Once you trust and accept the FACT that Jesus (Yeshua) has died for you, you are considered punished in Him by God. "I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life I which I now live in the flesh. I live by the faith of the Son of God, Who loved me and gave Himself for me." (Gal.2:20). In the parable of the wheat and the tares (Mat.13:25-30), Jesus forbids pulling up the tares because they will be judged at the Great White Throne Judgment (Rev.20:11-15).

We are under grace, not the law (Rom.6:15). God's grace is being abundantly offered to the ALL the people of the world, and His mercy is being extended to make that offer possible. 1 Cor. 6:9-11 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, 10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. (KJV) . . . God's mercy and love and grace wards off justice bringing about death immediately. BUT . . . This does NOT mean that God will always strive with man (Gen.6:3) or a nation, or never bring His judgment on that nation. Nazi Germany proves that. God brought His judgments on them (Eze.14:21).

My friend, if God does NOT judge this world-wide epidemic of homosexuality, He will owe Sodom and Gomorrah an apology. Jesus said in Luke 10:10-12, "But whatever city you enter and they do not receive you...it will, be more tolerable on that day for Sodom than for that city." The world's judgment IS coming! Revelation 6:16-17 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? (KJV) . . . SO . . . WHAT are we as Christians to do? We MUST preach Jesus and the peace that is available ONLY through Him! John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (KJV) Jesus' words.

Time is getting short. We MUST obey Jesus. Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. (KJV) Jesus' words.

Sins mount up for an individual, for a nation and for the world . . . but they will one day reach their full measure and God's terrible judgment shall fall! This was true in Abraham's day, concerning the Amorites in the land of Canaan. Even though the Promised Land was given to Abraham and his descendents, he could not take possession of it right away, he had to wait over 400 years, because the sins of the Amorites had not yet reached their fullness. Genesis 15:16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites is not yet full. (KJV)

In God's eyes, we ALL are in Adam. Looking at it in a different light, we ALL are one, in sin, like Adam . . . until we as an individual, are removed from that mass, and put in Christ at our conversion. 1 Cor.15:21-22 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. (KJV) . . . We ALL are like Adam in that we ALL are sinners! It is only when we personally decide to get out of Adam's 'death group' and move over to Christ's 'life group' that we are right in God's eyes. IF we decide to stay in Adam, eternal death awaits! Only when we are in Christ, can we ever have eternal life!

I have had some inmates write to me and say: "God can never forgive me. You don't know what I've done.". . . No. I don't know what some of them have done. But I do know this . . . No sin is greater than God's grace~! When a person truly repents and accepts Christ as their Saviour and Lord, ALL sin is forgiven by God! THAT I know!

Gen.6:3 tells us that His "Spirit will not always strive with man." There will come a time when the fullness of man's iniquity will reach the boiling point, and God will no longer strive with the world. My friend, His patience is wearing thin! One day, and I think it will be soon, the last convert will come to Jesus Christ . . . and the end of the "fulness of the Gentiles be come in" (Rom.11:25). When that day arrives, it shall bring God's RIGHTEOUS wrath and judgment upon this wicked world.

Jonah was sent to Ninevah, with a message that warned of God's coming judgment. Sin and iniquity was about to reach its fullness with them. Jonah did NOT tell them they had to become Jews, and accept the 613 laws of Moses . . . he simply told them they must repent. Romans 2:14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves: (KJV) . . . The moral law of God was written in their consciences, just as it is on ALL people today! The warning call to repentance that Jonah brought to the violent Assyrians of his day, was received with open ears! They repented and were spared. What will America do? God's judgment SHALL fall on America! I do not know if it will be tomorrow or next week or years from now . . . but I do know God's righteous judgment shall fall!

What should the TRUE Christian response be to homosexuals? . . . Jesus said we must love our enemies. Luke 6:24-28 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation. 25 Woe unto you that are full! for ye shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for ye shall mourn and weep. 26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets. 27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, 28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. (KJV)

We must act in love, we must hate the sin but love the sinner and do all we can to make these people SEE their sin and turn to the only One who can save their soul from an everlasting Hell! This means doing unto them as we would want them to do unto us (Mat.7:12; Rom.13:9; Jam.2:8).
