God Gives Them Over To A Reprobate Mind
The Bible states how a person becomes a reprobate. The first chapter of Romans gives the process by which a person develops a reprobate mind.
The first step is failure to acknowledge God and not being thankful, not appreciating the goodness of God. Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. (KJV)
Then follows denying the Truth of God and His Word and believing lies. Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. (KJV)
Anyone living a lie, is NOT accompanied by the Presence of God. When His Presence leaves, there is a huge vacant hole, a void! This void is filled by turning to pleasure . . . most often sexual immorality and in today's time, SO often ending with homosexuality. Romans 1:26-27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. (KJV)
Any time a person lives a lie, he/she drives any knowledge of God out of their mind and they become a reprobate. Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; (KJV)
Consider the corrupt and immoral ways of Americans today: pornography, child molestation, lewd movies, fornication, adultery, divorce, homosexuality, addiction to drugs causing violence and murder to support the habit, etc. ALL these are clear signs that this once "In God we trust" nation has become rampantly reprobate before Almighty God. Acceptance and promotion of homosexuality as being an alternate lifestyle is the definite sign and the “end of the road” of becoming a reprobate. ANYONE that give consent that sexual immorality is an alternate lifestyle, are just as guilty as those who live the lifestyle. Romans 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (KJV)
America has gone a L-O-N-G way down the road AWAY from God! There are millions of reprobates, everywhere! When the Supreme Court removed Bible reading and prayer from the schools in 1963, America quickly turned from God. Since that time, any knowledge of God that was taught in schools, like when I was a child, has been removed from all areas of our society because of our constitution.
With the removal of the knowledge of God, there has been the acceptance of fornication, adultery, the promotion of homosexuality and abortion. The news media and Hollywood glorify these lifestyles. The courts have established them as “rights.” Colleges are a fertile ground for these lifestyles. Even America's political parties promote them. Sickening!
Education, power, social standing, including religious authority, or wealth, of a person does not matter to God: he is a reprobate. America has many reprobates in very powerful positions in our government and churches. Homosexuality looks normal to the reprobate mind. Following God’s Word brings blessings, health, and long life; following the reprobate mind brings disease, death and eternal destruction.
What Is Jesus’ View of Homosexuality?
Both the Old and New Testaments classify the homosexual act as iniquity or an abomination . . . a grievous SIN to God. Homosexuals and their supporters claim Jesus never mentioned or condemned homosexuality. In their perverted way of thinking . . . because He did NOT use the word homosexuality, then it must NOT violate God's Word. This is one of the top arguments constantly used by homosexuals and their advocates.
True! The Bible does NOT use the word homosexual or homosexuality. BUT it is NOT true the Lord Jesus never condemned the act. The word homosexual was not a word until the late 1800s or a little over 100 years ago. The word was first used in Germany and then picked up later in 1892 in the English dictionary. The King James Version could not use this word because it was translated 300 years before the word was used in the English!
BUT . . . The Lord Jesus CLEARLY condemned homosexuality. He used the word for His day which would have identified the homosexual act. The New Testament uses the word fornication to identify homosexuality. Fornication = immoralities, immorality, sexual immorality, unchaste. Please understand that the New Testament used "fornication" to identify homosexuality, and then knowing this, it is perfectly clear that the Lord Jesus absolutely DID condemn it.
I believe the tiny Book of Jude ties together homosexuality with the word fornication. The homosexuality of Sodom and Gomorrah was identified as fornication. The Bible warns that the destruction of Sodom and Gomorra was an example to those who would practice fornication.
Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. (KJV)
The Greek word for fornication is ekporneuo, meaning to be completely unchaste. It is from that Greek word which English gets the word pornography. A person who is utterly unchaste would have continual unclean thoughts. Pornography is dangerous because it can completely control the mind, making ones thoughts filthy, corrupted and perverted.
The Bible describes FORNICATION as ANY sexual activity outside of marriage. It is a wide ranging term with more than one meaning. In God's eyes, marriage is between one man and one woman. Thus fornication would include: heterosexual relations before marriage, homosexual relations at any time, incest at any time, bestiality of any kind, at any time, all prostitution and pornography. ALL sex outside of marriage is considered fornication by God. And God considers marriage to be a man and a woman!
Since the New Testament definitely identifies homosexuality as fornication, let's look and see what the Lord Jesus said about it. Jesus said that what comes from the heart of a man defiles him. Sin starts in the heart and then proceeds to action. Fornication is one of the sins that He listed which defiles a man.
Sin first originates in the heart, then is dwelt upon in the mind and then acted upon by the will. The Lord Jesus said that the act of fornication DEFILES a man. Fornication is lumped with the evils of murder, thefts, lying, etc. Both the Books of Matthew and Mark record the Lord Jesus condemning fornication. Jesus clearly addressed homosexuality and how evil it is.
Matthew 15:18-20 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man. (19) For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies: (20) These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.(KJV) Jesus' words.
Mark 7:20-23 And he said, That which cometh out of the man, that defileth the man. (21) For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, (22) Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: (23) All these evil things come from within, and defile the man. (KJV)
The New Testament has more to say about fornication than just the Lord Jesus' statements that it comes from the evil of man's heart. Time after time the Bible warns about the sin of fornication. The Bible in several places lists fornication with many other sins. These sins would include: adultery, idolatry, drunkenness, witchcraft, hatred, heresies and the list goes on and on. The sin of fornication/homosexuality is always listed with these other sins.
Romans 1:28-32 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them. (KJV) . . . Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death.
1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body. (KJV) . . . To God and those who love Him, fornication/homosexuality is a SIN!
Galatians 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness … and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. (KJV) . . . they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God. . . . Mat.5:19 above!
Ephesians 5:3-7 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints … For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. (KJV) . . . because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Colossians 3:4-6 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: (KJV) . . . For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:
Romans 8:13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. (KJV) . . .If you live according to your human nature, you are headed for God's judgment! He will condemn you to the Lake of Fire! HELL!
Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV)
Today, homosexuality has been yanked by our constitution from the list of bad things (being a vile affection) to now being decreed by many groups of civil government as being a 'good thing' and a right of individuals! Some "Christian" ???? denominations now say it is a loving relationship that is acceptable and blessed by God. I just have one question: WHEN did God change His mind about this? I can give you the ONE and ONLY answer my friend! NEVER! God has NOT changed His mind about fornication, nor will He ever!
These denominations now even "marry" homosexuals. One of the leading forces in America for advancing homosexuality comes from within these 'religious' ??? denominations. Is homosexuality really NOW acceptable to God? NO! Absolutely NOT! The Bible's warnings are the same today as they were thousands of years ago. God's plan for a marriage is one man and one woman. Anything else is either adultery or fornication! Period! The Supreme Court of the United States or some satanic denomination can create an Ordinance, but this in NO way changes what the Bible states and what our pure God demands.
Many of today's religious leaders are in rebellion against God and are false teachers. They deceive millions about the character of God, His Word and homosexuality. They have a reprobate mind and are trying to indoctrinate others with this satanic mind set. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing (Mat.7:15). It is horrifying to think of all the reprobates that stand in pulpits of churches and speak opposite of what the Bible teaches. Today's seminaries are producing multitudes of reprobates.
The Bible warns of false teachers who will bring in damnable heresies. These false teachers will speak evil of those who follow the Truth of God's Word. The Scriptures warn about false teachers who lie in wait to deceive. The following verses warn about false teachers and their heresies.
Matthew 15:8-9 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. (KJV) Jesus' words.
2 Peter 2:1-2 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. (KJV)
Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; (KJV)
2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. (KJV)
God Never Changes His Mind About Homosexuality OR Any Other Sin
God has never changed about His prohibiting fornication, and He and never will. WHY? Simple! God is pure and holy. Filthy fornication is completely against His character! He would NEVER condone it or He would NOT be pure and holy any more. Just as God would never condone prostitution, pornography, murder, abortion, hatred, or ANY sin . . . God will NEVER make an exception for homosexuality.
So many people just do NOT understand God's purity, God's holiness. So few ever consider that God is offended by homosexual activity. Millions just put God out of the picture and replace Him with SELF! Their feelings, their pleasure, their lust! Today's modern, depraved thinking is . . . if a minister, a supposed man of God, blesses homosexuality . . . then God surely must accept it. This makes me think of the following: Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. (KJV) Jesus' words . . . I hate to think of the MANY pastors who shall one day stand before the Great Judge Jesus and TRY to make excuses for the corrupt commandments of men (Mat.15:9 above) they spoke to vulnerable babes in Christ! There are NO excuses for such a travesty!
Both the Old and New Testaments give us a brief glimpse of Heaven and God on His throne. There are angels there in the very Presence of God. They praise and acknowledge His holiness.
Isaiah 6:2-3 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly. And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory. (KJV)
Revelation 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. (KJV)
God is holy, those that believe in the Lord Jesus are called to follow Him in holiness. The Bible says that fornicators, adulterers, drunkards, idolaters, etc. will NOT inherit the kingdom of God. The Bible leaves NO doubt whatsoever that anyone who practices fornication/homosexuality will NOT inherit the kingdom of God. It is YOUR choice! Choose God, holiness and Heaven OR fornication and uncleanness and Hell!
Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? (KJV) . . . A person CANNOT have God AND fornication! Whoever thinks he can practice homosexuality, encourage or condone it, and be accepted by God is WRONG and horribly deceived by Satan and his children!
CONSIDER the FOLLOWING!
Leviticus 18:20 Moreover thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbour's wife, to defile thyself with her. . . . (Adultery)
(21) And thou shalt not let any of thy seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am the LORD. . . . (Child sacrifice)
(22) Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. . . . (Homosexuality)
(23) Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. . . . (Bestiality)
Leviticus 18:24-25 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you: 25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants. (KJV) . . . The Bible warns that when homosexuality becomes an ordinance, a social custom or something considered normal, it will bring God's judgment on that nation. When the Bible defines iniquity, the homosexual act automatically falls under that category! In very strong language, the Bible clearly tells us that because of iniquity the land will vomit out its inhabitants. JUDGMENT looms my friend! Are you ready?
A reprobate mind is not limited to just the homosexual act alone! Acceptance of homosexuality by a heterosexual is a clear sign of also having a reprobate mind. It is a clear sign that this person has rejected God in his/her mind and is now living with a reprobate mind. This means a person who is a heterosexual but supports, defends or encourages homosexuality is also a reprobate in the eyes of God.
Supporting the homosexual agenda in ANY respect shows a deep rebellion against God and classifies that person as a reprobate. I really think that to God, there is not much difference between an active homosexual and a heterosexual who condones this act. Both have a reprobate mind. It simply boils down to: America is full of reprobates. They range from the everyday working man or woman, clergy, politicians, judges and college professors, students, news analysts, Hollywood stars . . . in other words . . . people young and old, from every walk of life.

God gives us this life on Earth, for us to decide where we want to spend eternity. The Bible does NOT teach reincarnation. Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (KJV)
God has also given us a road map, the Bible, to help us go the right direction in this short life. The Bible not only shows us right roads but what to avoid. It NEVER leads us incorrectly!
God clearly tells us our soul is eternal, and will spend eternity in one of only two places: Heaven or Hell. This article hopefully will help some leave the homosexual way that is SO wrong in God's eyes. God can and will forgive ANY sin IF we repent . . . meaning to be sorry and turn away from it. God is good! He loves you. He does NOT want you to go to Hell! Hell was prepared for the devil and his angels (Mat.25:41). He does NOT want anyone to perish (2 Pet.3:9). BUT . . . IF a person insists on the practice of sin, any sin, Hell awaits! I know! I know! Most people today frown on those who preach damnation! But, I must preach it because the Bible teaches it and I believe it. You do NOT want to go to Hell where torment never ceases! (Luke 16:19-31).
