"Damnable Heresies"

Satan's Plan of Attack

2 Peter 2:1-3 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (KJV)

Satan even tempted Jesus! But there Satan also challenges Jesus to put God's Word to the test . . . to get something for Himself (Mat. 4:5-7; Luke 4:9-12). Satan says: "You say You believe that God cannot lie, that He will indeed do what He says. Well . . . let's see You test Him to prove it!

Psalm 91:11-12 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. 12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. (KJV)

Do you see how Satan twisted Psalm 91:11-12? He says what amounts to tempting God through evil motivation! He wants Jesus to tempt God!

Mat. 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. (KJV) . . . Also: Luke 4:7, Deut.6:16.

This clearly shows the operation method of the father of lies (John 8:44). Satan leads, guides and inspires his ministers to use exactly the same basic methods . . . even though these greedy "wolves in sheep's clothing" APPEAR as angels of light (2 Cor.11:14-15). BEWARE!!! They are out there in groves! Their pulpits reach millions! They are well known, well liked, smiley faced, smooth talking LIARS, just like Satan.

Satan hates God and he hates God's law because it is the way of righteousness (Psalm 119:172). This is why the carnal mind of man (the unsaved) is not subject to the law of God (Rom.8:7). Through Satan's ministers' false teaching, Satan makes every effort to deceive people and do all he can to break God's laws. These new churches are teaching just what the people want to hear. Paul's prophecy IS being fulfilled before our very eyes!

2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (KJV)

Just open your eyes and look around! You can see how Satan has attacked and continues to attack the churches through "damnable heresies"!

#1. He brings about a small but steady stream of changes that his ministers call adjustments, clarifications or refinements to revealed and GOD established doctrines. BUT . . . WHAT does the Bible say?

Deut. 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you. (KJV) . . . Also: Deut.12:32; Pro.30:5-6; Gal.1:8-9; Rev.22:18-19. DO NOT MESS WITH GOD'S WORD!

BUT, churches everywhere are doing it! Many things may slip by without the naive congregations even noticing, because they are Biblically ignorant. The end result of these changes will be to cast doubt on what was previously believed . . . the TRUTH! Submission to God will lessen as people become uncertain about what is right, and doubt creeps in . . . for they then seriously consider the devil's LIES! When a person has doubts about the adjustments, clarifications or refinements in doctrine . . . wise up! Check it out with the Holy Word of God! You will see it is wrong!

Please do NOT opt to ignore the changes! Satan's ministers may "adjust" a fairly important doctrine just to test the reaction of the membership. The doctrine may not be critical to salvation, BUT . . . it may shed important light on the devil's process. If you let him get away with a small, non-damning change . . . believe me, there is another change coming that may condemn your soul to Hell!

#2. A second way Satan inspires his ministers, is to make a "refinement" to the TRUE Gospel of Jesus Christ. These greedy wolves in sheep's clothing will revise the heart of the Gospel. The Master plainly said the message He brought was from God (John 17:8) . . . BUT . . . since Satan hates God and God's people, his message will NOT be that Christ Jesus saves, and He alone (John 3:16-18,36; 5:24; 8:24; 14:6; Acts 4:10-12; 1 John 5:10-12). BEWARE!!!

#3. Third, Satan tries to hide the TRUE nature of God. This will bring about confusion about how he is supposed to conduct his life. Satan's ministers are teaching there is NO sin. That is absolutely FALSE! The Bible says ALL are sinners (Rom.3:10,23). Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (KJV) . . . WHO are you going to believe? God? Or Satan? Your soul is eternal and rests in YOUR hand! Choose wisely! BEWARE!!!

#4. When people accept the heresies, Satan begins teaching that we no longer need to keep some of God's laws. He is especially effective if the laws chosen are ones that seem to give people more control over their life, time and money. What are some of these new anti-God church laws? So many, but I will list just a few: homosexuality is not wrong, adultery is not wrong, fornication is not wrong, living together without being married isn't wrong . . . these are just alternative lifestyles! Divorce is not wrong, if it doesn't work, try again. Everybody is doing it! Abortion is not murder, it is just a way to get out of a bad situation. Do NOT believe this garbage! What does the Bible say?

Matthew 5:32 But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery. (KJV) . . . Jesus' Words!

1 Corinthians 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, (KJV)

2 Peter 2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children: (KJV)

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (KJV)
