"Damnable Heresies"

WHY Do So Many NOT Hear TRUTH?

2 Peter 2:1-3 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (KJV)

WHY do so many reject God and His Word? WHY do so many deny Jesus? WHY do so many say that every religion has saving grace? WHY do so many say there are many ways to Heaven? WHY do so many not only not hear the Truth, but want NO part of it?

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. (KJV)
John 8:47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. (KJV) . . .SO many today, preachers and their naive flocks are NOT hearing God's Words! Jesus says that is because they are NOT of God! Do NOT listen to the devil's heresies, listen to GOD!

1 Cor. 2:12-16 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. (KJV)

IF a person does NOT have the Spirit of Christ within them, they are "none of His"' (Rom.8:9). IF a person does NOT hear God's Words, it is because they are NOT of God, NOT God's children!

God Allows The Truth To Be Hidden, Except To The Elect, For Now

Our Lord Jesus said some shocking words.

Matthew 13:11-16 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. 12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. 13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. 16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. (KJV)

The disciples asked Jesus, "Why do You speak to them in parables?" Our Lord picks up where He left off in the parable of the sower. There He told us that only 1/4 of the sown seed ever got into good ground. The other 3/4 never did produce anything because the people who heard the Word did not respond to it. In plain words, they were NOT saved.

So, according to Jesus, of all the people who ever hear the Word of God, only 1/4 respond and were truly saved. I honestly believe the percentage is much lower than that, and shall continue to lessen in today's world. Why do I say that?

Luke 18:7-8 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them? 8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? (KJV)

I really feel that if one out of ten people sincerely respond to Christ when they hear God's Word, it would be too great a number. God's TRUE servants work against the devil, in a Kingdom-of-Heaven situation, giving out the Word of God . . . but people just want no part of it. They prefer Satan's heresies because the heresies give them more leeway to do what they want to do . . . SIN!

When Will The Others Be Able To "Hear"?

Those who are alive:

Acts 2:17-21 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved. (KJV)

What about the Jews?

Ezekiel 37:6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD. (KJV)

Ye shall know that I am the Lord . . . one day, by the actual proof of Jesus' Divinity which He shall give in reviving Israel. (Rev.7).

What About Those Who Reject The Truth After They "Hear" It?

Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. . . . Some "hear" sooner (the elect), who will be resurrected from the dead, or changed to spirit if alive that day, at the Rapture, while many more will "hear" later, having to go through the horrible Great Tribulation period. Most who "hear" then will most likely be martyred (Rev.20:4).

For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. . . . But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. . . . Do NOT shut your ears to God's Word! It is the ONLY way you will make it to Heaven!

BUT . . . there is still the matter of, after one "hears" whenever that is . . . IF you hear the Truth of God's Word and accept it, Heaven is yours! BUT . . . IF you hear a demonic heresy and accept that . . . Hell is the answer to that one! BEWARE!!!

Whether or not you accept the Truth and repent, OR reject the Truth and continue on your own way . . . there are absolutely NO "second chances" for anyone, ever! NO purgatory! NO parole! NO matter how much you will beg!
