"Damnable Heresies"

A Hard, Strait Road

2 Peter 2:1-3 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (KJV)

This Hard, Strait Was Road Prophesied

Acts 20:28-31 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. 30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. 31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. (KJV)

As we read the above, Paul's words were indeed prophetic as we look back and see just how many churches, ministries and religions have revolved around sinful men. So many supposed "Christians" have turned turn aside from the small narrow RIGHT path, to the broad path, perverted. and corrupt. Even a blind person can "see" how this is true in today's world, as the church has been turned aside from following Jesus . . . the Way, the Truth and the Life . . . to following a life that is more pleasing to sinful flesh.

My friend, living a TRUE "Christian" life is NOT easy! In fact, it is impossible without Jesus! To truly follow Jesus is very difficult in the world Satan and his cronies!

If you are truly a disciple of Christ, doing your utmost best to follow Him, you shall face many hardships. You must put Jesus first! And that is much easier said than done! You will have to die to self and persecution will be on every side!

SO . . . is there any help, any comfort? YES!

Matthew 10:38And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. (KJV) . . . DENY self . . . NOT Jesus! Better days are ahead for God's TRUE children!

Matthew 16:24-26 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. 25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (KJV) . . . People today think only of TODAY . . . never eternity! Your soul IS eternal and there are only TWO places it can go: Heaven OR Hell! And friend, YOU are in charge of your destination! Only YOU can make that decision! NO one else, just YOU!

Matthew 5:10-12 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you. (KJV) . . . So what's a little persecution here, compared to eternity in Hell for making the wrong choice or following a false teacher. And if you will notice, there is a tremendous blessing promised by Jesus for those who stand by Him! Great is your reward in heaven!

Satan strives to make life on Earth difficult for us. IF you take a stand with Jesus, you are a target for Satan's tactics and tricks! Satan will offer you MANY tempting offers, just as Satan offered Jesus many tempting offers. Toward the end, Satan really poured it on hot and heavy to make it even more difficult for Jesus to accomplish His mission to the cross.

John 19:10 Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee? (KJV) . . . Satan says: "One last chance Jesus."

This most likely was the last temptation of Christ Jesus. The desire to please His Father was greater than anything else.

John 19:11 Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power at all against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin. (KJV)

Jesus chose the hard, strait road in His decision, for very soon He would walk the road to Golgotha. I am eternally grateful for His decision!

Things Changed!

In today's world, we have many ministries led by apostates. These ministries have tried to change the meaning of the Holy Word of God! These seeker friendly churches turn aside from the RIGHT path, to a perverted and corrupted broad road leading straight to Hell!

The teaching of these heretics appeal to our sinful flesh. It is truly a temptation for people to follow their non-Biblical teaching because they teach just exactly what the people WANT to hear . . . NOT what the people NEED to hear! 2 Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; (KJV) . . . God is NEVER wrong! That day is here!

Matthew 7:13-14 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (KJV) . . . Our Lord Jesus took the hard, difficult road, for US. . . maybe we should take that hard difficult road . . . if we want to go where it leads! I sure do NOT want to go where that broad, easy road leads!

Do you really see what Jesus also states? "Few there be that find it." False teachers today do not believe this, nor do they teach this Biblical TRUTH! SO many are teaching the damnable heresy of "Universalism" . . . that everyone will eventually get to Heaven. That is NOT true! I believe what Jesus states in the above Matthew 7:13-14! I believe JESUS! We live in a country that does anything and everything it can to please the flesh . . . forget about what the Bible says! We must be in agreement with our Lord Jesus and the Bible or we will NEVER get to Heaven! Only HELL awaits those who deny Christ, deny the Bible and live any way they choose no matter what God says! God's way to live is NOT an easy sell to our pleasure driven society, BUT, if you ever want to go to Heaven, you had better do it God's way or you shall have horrible regrets!

Friend, we have tremendous Promises IF we choose this more difficult lifestyle!

Revelation 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. (KJV)

Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life. (KJV)

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV) . . . Is YOUR name in the "book of life"?

IF you are a true follower of Christ and stand firm with Him, you shall be looked down on, blasphemed, shunned, cursed, persecuted and hated (even by family members Mat.10:34-36). The American life is all about me, me, me! It is serving self, pleasing self, pursuing sinful flesh all out! Satan wants it that way. Satan's goal for those who want to follow Christ is to keep them in bondage to their sinful flesh. So, Satan raises up his demonic "ministers of righteousness" (2 Cor.11:13-14) that he uses to keep followers off the narrow, difficult path with their smooth talking heresies.

1 John 2:15-16 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. (KJV)

To live the "American Dream" lifestyle is lusting after the flesh, lusting for what you see and being proud and arrogant! That is what Satan wants you to do! Satan is the "ruler of this world" (John 14:30; 16:11; 2 Cor.4:4; Eph.2:2). He has authority over all the kingdoms, and it seems he has chosen the good ole' USA as his "home base." Look at a dollar bill. It has occult symbols on it, showing he is in charge. All the pagan monuments in Washington DC reveals where Satan resides.

All abortions, perverted lifestyles, perverted Hollywood media, perverted music, wars, greed, pornography and demonic pride start from here.

TRUE followers of Christ must continue to "deny self" (Mark 8:34; 10:21), EXPOSE evil in the church, EXPOSE evil in the world, EXPOSE false teachers, EXPOSE damnable heresies, EXPOSE liars in the pulpits! BUT, if and when you do, your life will become more difficult . . . BUT you will NEVER be alone (Deut.31:6; Josh.1:5; 1 Chron.28:20; Mat.6:25; Phil.1:27; 4:11-12; Heb. 13:5).

Many in today's modern "church" will hate and rise up against anyone who tries to expose evil doers. But, for all the TRUE followers of Christ, this is God's will. You will NOT be popular with those of the world! BUT . . . we must always live with eternity in mind and make it our goal to please the Father, just as our Lord Jesus did . . . all the way to the end.
