"Damnable Heresies"

The Dangers of Heresy Today

2 Peter 2:1-3 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. (KJV)

The vast majority of churches today is losing its uniqueness, which is the love and fear of, and obedience to Almighty God!

2 Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, (KJV)
2 Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? (KJV)

More and more supposed "Christians" (those who call themselves "Christians") are returning back into the world from which it was once separated. They no longer are capable of being a witness to the world . . . because they cannot witness of Christ, if they do not believe it. A TRUE child of God is unique and distinct from the world. We believe God (1 John 5:10-12), we love Him by making every effort in keeping His commandments to us (Mat.22:36-40) and we fear Him by reverencing Him, putting Him in His proper place, and not being afraid to stand up with Him. Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (KJV)

When people believe and accept heresies, it is the beginning of apostasy! Apostasy is turning your back on God. We live in an apostate world today! More and more are joining Satan's group, walking that broad road to eternal destruction.

The apostate church is in very grave danger that they simply cannot see. The word "heresy" in the Bible simply means, "an opinion." Many of the doctrines circulating in today's churches are merely opinions, NOT based on the Word of God. In John 5:39 Jesus told His disciples to... SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES!!! It is extremely dangerous to form an opinion that is NOT based on the Bible. People who express teachings NOT taught in the Bible are guilty of spreading heresy. Beware of man's advice, for much is heresy, even damnable heresy.

These are all manmade doctrines, all man's opinions, which are NOT based pon the Scriptures.

There is NOTHING, anywhere in the Bible about speaking in tongues as done in Charismatic churches today. Biblical speaking on tongues ALWAYS involved known, established, earthly languages; NOT the insane jibber-jabber that goes on in Pentecostal churches today.

Infant baptism began with the heretic Martin Luther, who plainly stated that water baptism could save a person, even without faith.

"Further, we say that we are not so much concerned to know whether the person baptized believes or not; for on that account Baptism does not become invalid..."

Mr. Luther is a liar, a heretic who taught heresy! You can be water baptized 100 times, BUT it means absolutely nothing if you do NOT have faith in Jesus Christ... "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned" (Mark 16:16). Salvation is by faith alone in the Saviour (Ephesians 2:8,9); and NOT by water baptism (1 Cor. 1:17).

We ought to follow the teachings of God's Word; and avoid following men such as Arminius, Calvin, and Luther. All these men had flawed OPINIONS concerning the Scriptures. Psalm 118:8 states... "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." "Let God be true, but every man a liar..." (Romans 3:4).

Billions of Catholics are going to burn in Hellfire, because they are trusting the OPINIONS of men (priests, the Pope, and the Vatican). In Mark 7:9 Jesus warned... "Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition." How sad and tragic that so many people today are relying upon their own opinions, or the opinions of others, instead of obeying the inspired Words of God.

Remember. the word "heresy" in the Bible means "an opinion." Therefore, it is of the utmost importance that we form our opinions from the Truths of God's Word; and NOT from the latest New York Times bestseller.

Saying Evil is Good

In all that false teachers, do and teach,
Naive sheep in the flock, they try to reach.
Deadly, damning doctrines, are their aim,
As they willingly play, the devil’s game.

Damnable heresies, black as night,
Skillfully disguised, as works of light!
Greedy wolves, spread their poison each day,
As they travel, their destructive way!

From multiple pulpits, and TV,
These evil ones lead, to Hell’s agony.
They are well loved, say what folks want to hear,
But they are just tickling, itching ears!

These heretics, make evil seem good,
As they give garbage, for spiritual food.
Their deadly heresies, you must inspect,
Satan tries to deceive, even God’s elect!

There are many false prophets, all around,
And the heresies they spout, do abound!
False apostles, workers of trickery,
Trying to lead you, to Hell’s agony!

We must be on guard, we must beware,
For our eternal soul, we must take care!
In God’s Word, we must stay e’er so deep,
And a firm stand with Jesus, we must keep!

Open that Good Book, open it and read,
And to those Words of Truth, please pay heed!
Evil is NOT good, and dark is NOT light,
We must keep the Truth, always in sight!

We must stay in God’s Book, the Truth to know,.
To stay away, from horrid Hell below!
Biblically illiterate, you don’t want to be,
If you want life in Heaven, eternally!
