Judgment IS Coming
Introduction

Whether you like it or not, judgment is coming. Whether you believe it or not, judgment is coming. Whether you are ready or not, judgment is coming. Whether you are a believer in Christ or an unbeliever, judgment is coming. Judgment is an absolute fact! Judgment Day is already scheduled on God’s calendar. Remember what the Bible states:
2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (KJV) God may seem to be slow to you. But God’s time clock and our time clock are two completely different things! God is not slow; He is simply not on our timetable. Psalm 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night. (KJV) Jesus is coming back! Count on it! He is waiting so that more sinners will repent and turn to Him. You should be ready to meet Christ at any time, perhaps even today. But you must plan your life as though He may not return for many years. We MUST reach out to people with the Gospel so that more can find their way to Jesus and Heaven. We must obey our Lord’s command to us. Matthew 28:19-20
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: [20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen(KJV) Many people refuse to believe that God will sentence people to “eternal fire” (Hell) for rejecting Him. But this is a FACT clearly taught in Scripture. Sinners who don’t seek forgiveness from God will face eternal separation from Him. Jude gives us a warning to all who rebel against, ignore, or reject God. Jude 1:7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. (KJV)

FIRE AND BRIMSTONE

Unsaved sinners shall be punished with everlasting destruction . . . and be forever banished from the Presence of God. Most people do NOT want to hear the fire and brimstone message, but I teach the Bible and I must teach it all, not just what people want to hear. The vast majority of preachers today will NOT preach on Hell. If they did, people would not come back. 2 Tim. 4:1-4 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; [2] Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. [3] For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; [4] And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (KJV) God, through Paul was speaking to Timothy, but He is speaking to all of us who bring His Word to the public, and that includes me. We are to preach the whole Gospel. It is very important for believers to spread the Gospel. Most people today do not know Christ. He is coming soon, and He wants His people  to be ready for Him. It may be inconvenient or unpopular to take a stand for Christ or to tell others about His love, and His judgment; but preaching the Word of God is the most important responsibility believers have been given. We are to preach the Word in season and out of season, meaning in any situation, whenever the opportunity arrives. We are to correct, rebuke and encourage, with the total Word of God. It is difficult to tell people they are doing wrong and have to change. But even if the truth hurts, we must obey God. Some people will be absolutely nasty to us. Some will tell us to mind our own business. Some will blaspheme God . . . and us!

WHY DOES A LOVING GOD
SEND PEOPLE TO HELL???

(1) God gives ALL people enough “light” to know He exists. (Rom.1:19-20; Psalm 19:1) God reveals Himself through nature. Just look around. If you can’t “see” God, you are in big trouble! We learn about His power and our weakness. We learn about His holiness and our sinfulness. We learn about His gracious forgiveness and our salvation.  We are surrounded by wonderful displays of God’s workmanship which give dramatic evidence of His existence, His power, His love, His grace, His care. To say that the universe happened by chance is stupidity!
(2) People still choose NOT to know Him.
(Psalm 14:1; 53:2-3; Isaiah 53:6; Rom.1:25; 2 Tim. 3:1-4) To speak in direct defiance of God is utterly foolish. Why is it that people are so evil? Fear of God (reverence) is little known. Many claim to know God, yet in works, they deny Him. If we can see all that Jesus did and still reject Him, our sin is much greater than that of the ancient Israelites who could not see what we have seen. Have you given your life to Jesus Christ, the “good shepherd” (John 10:11-16), or are you still a wandering sheep? People choose to reject God, and God allows them to do it. God won’t stop us from making choices that are against His will. We have a free will and He lets us make our own choices. People love to satisfy their own lusts, more than to please God. God is to be loved above all else; but a carnal mind, full of enmity against Him, prefers any thing before Him, especially carnal pleasure.
(3) SO . . . God reluctantly gives people what they want. God wants NO one to go to the Lake of Fire, the place of everlasting punishment. He would like for all to be saved (1 Tim.2:3-4). He would like for all to repent and come to Him (2 Peter 3:9). BUT, God will NOT force Himself on anyone. He allows people to reject Him and His Son, even if it hurts Him. God is love (1 John 4:16), and He allows people to reject His love.
There will one day be a judgment for all people, when they stand before God’s awesome Throne (Rev.20:11-13). Anyone whose name is not written in the “book of life” will be thrown into the Lake of fire (Rev.20:15). It will NOT be God’s fault you chose not to accept Jesus as your Saviour and Lord. It was YOUR decision!

God warned Israel.  Deut. 30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live: (KJV) We have the same choice today. We can choose God’s blessing or His curse. We can choose God’s love or His wrath. Our decision!
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. (KJV) May I ask, what choice have you made?

So many people say, “A loving God would never send me to Hell.” God is love . . . yes! But IF God loves, then He also hates! He HATES sin! And to God the worst sin is not believing Him, and rejecting His Son (John 9:31). Please believe God! Don’t call Him a “liar” (1 John 5:10-12).

Even though we don’t fully understand God and His ways, He gives us freedom to make our own choices. We can either be under God’s grace OR we can be under His wrath and judgment . . . it’s our choice! Jesus clearly tells us this. John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins. (KJV) But, He welcomes anyone if we turn to Him for forgiveness, NOW, while we live! We do not have to be condemned to Hell, we can turn to Jesus for complete forgiveness and be reconciled to Him and the Father (Rom. 5:1-10). John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. (KJV)
Judgment is when God looks at the continual rebellion of an unbeliever and says: “Your choice will be honored.”

JUDGMENT IS COMING!
Chapter 1
Hypocrites and rejecters of Christ

Matthew 7:21-23 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. [22] Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? [23] And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity(KJV) Jesus exposed people who sounded religious but had no personal relationship with Him (hypocrites). On “that day” (the day of judgment), only our relationship with Christ, our acceptance of Him as Saviour, our obedience to Him, and our service to Him will count. Many people think that if they are “good” and say ‘religious’ things, they will be rewarded with eternal life. Not so! Faith in Christ and a close relationship with Him is what will count at the judgment.
Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
(KJV) Christ Jesus has been given the authority to judge ALL the Earth. There is a future, final judgment coming, when Christ shall return and everyone who has ever lived will have their life reviewed and evaluated. Both Christians and unbelievers will face a judgment, although not at the same time. A Christian’s eternal destiny is secure (Jn.3:15-18; Rom.6:23), but Jesus will consider how we handled our gifts, opportunities, and responsibilities in order to determine their heavenly rewards. All that we do for the cause of Christ will stand, all else will be burned up (1 Cor. 3:11-15). At the time of the person’s judgment, God will deliver the righteous and condemn the wicked.
Romans 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; (KJV) Although God does not usually punish us immediately for sin, His eventual judgment is certain. We don’t know exactly when it will happen, but we know that NO ONE will escape that final encounter with the Creator.
John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. (KJV) The purpose of Jesus’ first Coming to Earth was not to judge people, but to show them the way to find salvation and eternal life. BUT, when He comes again, one of His main jobs will be to judge people for how they lived on Earth. IF we do not accept and obey Christ’s Words about eternal life, His Words shall condemn us. On Judgment Day, All those who accepted Jesus and lived His way will be raised to eternal life (1 Cor. 15:51-57; 1 Thes. 4:15-18; Rev. 21:1-8), but all those who rejected Jesus and rejected His Words, living instead any way they pleased, shall face eternal punishment (Rev. 20:11-15). God has given us our life here on Earth to decide where we shall spend eternity. It is the biggest and most important decision we will ever make! Choose wisely! The consequences of your decision shall last forever. After your death, there are NO more choices!
1 John 4:17  Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. (KJV) “The day of wrath” refers to when we die or to the time when God settles accounts with all people. On Judgment Day, each of us will stand alone, and be accountable for our deeds. At that time, no amount of riches will buy reconciliation with God. Only our love for God and obedience to Him will matter.
Rev. 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand? (KJV) At the breaking of the 6th seal in the Book of Revelation, there will be an earthquake such as no one has ever seen. Every mountain and every island will be moved out of place (Rev.6:12-17).  ALL unsaved human beings, great and small, rich or poor, will be terrified, Begging the mountains to fall on them so that they will not have to face the judgment of the Lamb. This is not intended to frighten believers. For all who trust and accept Christ, the Lamb is a gentle Savior. But all those generals or kings who previously shown no fear of God and arrogantly flaunted their unbelief will see quite clearly that they were wrong, and in that day they will have to face God’s wrath. No one who has rejected Christ can survive the day of God’s wrath, but those who belong to Christ will receive a reward rather than punishment. If you belong to Christ, you need not fear these final days.
Rev. 20:11-15  And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. [12] And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. [13] And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. [14] And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. [15] And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (KJV) At this Great White Throne Judgment, the books will be opened. In them are recorded the deeds of everyone, be those deeds good or evil. We are NOT saved by deeds, but what we do is seen as clear evidence of a person’s actual relationship with God. The Book of Life contains only the names of those who have put their trust in Christ to save them.
Death and Hades are thrown into the lake of fire. God’s judgment is finished. The lake of fire (Hell) is the ultimate destination of everything wicked . . . Satan, the beast, the false prophet, the demons, death, Hades, and all those whose names are not recorded in the book of life because they did not place their faith in Christ Jesus. John’s vision does not permit any gray areas in God’s judgment. If by faith you have not identified with Christ, confessing Him as Saviour and Lord, there will be NO hope, NO second chance, and NO other appeal.
Are you right with God? Are you ready for Judgment Day?

JUDGMENT IS COMING!
Chapter 2
THE JUDGE IS CHRIST JESUS.
ALL judgment is committed to Him.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (KJV) God gave Jesus authority over Heaven and Earth. On that authority, Jesus told His disciples to make more disciples as they preached, baptized, and taught. And, with this same authority, Jesus shall judge the world.
John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: (KJV) Judgment will be done by the Father through the Son as His voluntary Agent.
John 5:27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. (KJV) The Father appointing the Son of man as a Judge in the nature of man is an absolute and beautiful method of divine wisdom in redemption. Since Jesus was 100% Man, He knows us completely, so who better to be our Judge? Even if I could object, I certainly would not! I am 100% in agreement! I think it’s great!
Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. (KJV) God the Father has fixed a day in which He will judge the whole world with Truth and justice by means of a Man He has chosen, who is none other than Jesus, whom He has raised from the dead.

The persons to be judged are:

(1) The whole race of Adam without a single exception. Matthew 25:31-33 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: [32] And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: [33] And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. (KJV) Christ will separate His obedient followers from hypocrites and unbelievers. The evidence of our belief is how we act. To treat all persons we encounter as if they are Jesus is not easy! How we treat others demonstrates what we really think of Jesus. Sobering thought, isn’t it? 1 Cor. 15:51-52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, [52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (KJV) “We will not all sleep” means that Christians alive at that day will not have to die but will be changed into their new bodies immediately. Rev. 20:11-15 (see page 8) The Great White Throne is for the unsaved of all ages who shall be raised for judgment here. All who are saved have been raised in the first resurrection. Even the tribulation saints had part in the first resurrection. This is the second resurrection in which lost souls are raised to be given a fair and just assessment of their works. God is just and righteous, and He will let you present your case. But at this judgment NO ONE is saved, because you CANNOT be saved by your works. When an unbeliever stands in the brilliant light of the Holy Presence of God, their works will not amount to a hill of beans! My friend, this assembly will be solemn. This is very serious! You need Christ as Savior in order to be able to stand in His Holy Presence. You need to be clothed with the righteousness of Christ (1 Cor.1:30), or you don’t stand a chance. Without Christ we are doomed to the pits of Hell. Things people have covered up, will be brought into the open. Judge Jesus is going to bring all secrets out at this judgment; while they present what they thought was great works. My friend, you need a Saviour today, or you shall stand at this judgment. This Great White Throne, and its holiness is revealed in the reaction of heaven and earth to it: from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. The One seated on the throne is the Lord Jesus Christ, “For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son…. (John 5:22, 26–29).

What is the work of God? What is WORKS to God?? Simply … believe on him whom he hath sent (John 6:29). Those who have done good are they who have accepted Christ, and they are raised at the first resurrection. They who have done evil shall be raised at the second resurrection to face the Great White Throne Judgment. You absolutely will get a fair trial there. But, consider: Your life is on tape, everything you have ever done, and Jesus has the tape. When He plays it back, you will have to listen to it, and it’s not going to sound good to you. Are you ready to stand before God and have Him play the tape of your life? I honestly think that He may have it on a TV screen too, so you can watch. Can your life can stand the test? I do not know about you, but I would fail big time! That’s why I thank God for His grace, that I have reached out and grabbed for mine! For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God (Eph. 2:8).How I thank God each day that I will NOT be before the Great White Throne Judgment. You don’t have to be either! Just reach out to Jesus. Open your heart’s door to Him.

What a day this will be! The Judge, the Lord Jesus Christ, will terrorize unbelievers with His awesome majesty. Evil will meet Good! If their name is not written in the Book of Life, Hell is their destination. Hell is the second death; it is eternal separation of sinners from God. By their works people shall be judged (also see: 2 Cor.11:15; Rev.14:13).

(2) The fallen angels. 2 Peter 2:4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; (KJV) God did not spare angels, or people who lived before the flood, or the citizens of Sodom and Gomorrah, and He will not spare them in the end times either! Some people believe that God will save all people because He is so loving. God is love, they cry! YES! Absolutely . . God is love. But God is also a God of wrath! God hates sin! God hates evil! It is absurd for anyone to think that He will cancel the last judgment and send everyone to Heaven! He will absolutely judge ALL sin and ALL wickedness and ALL unbelief! It’s as good as done! God judges sin and from that, so you can watch.

God judges ALL evil. Some of the angels . . . even though they were once pure, holy, and living in God’s Presence, gave in to pride and joined Satan to rebel against God. If the angels were punished, don’t you think all sin by all people will be punished as well?

WHY  WOULD  HE  SPARE  YOU??

If God spared not the angels that did sin,
But cast them to Hades; all chained within.
Reserved in the darkness; judgment to wait,
Why would He spare you? for His Son you do hate.

If God spared not the old world, way back then,
But brought a flood, where the ungodly had been.
Saved just Noah’s family, out of respect,
Why would He spare you? for His Son you reject.

If God spared not Sodom and Gomorrha,
But turned them to ashes from brimstone and fire.
Made them an example, to not live in sin,
Why would He spare you? for His Son you won’t win.

God won’t spare filthy dreamers of today,
That preach Heaven by some other way.
And the ones that listen, and take it all in,
Won’t be spared either, for it’s all sin!

God made just one Way of salvation for man,
We must BELIEVE Him; accept His only plan!
God sent His own Son to take away our sin,
Unless you believe and accept Christ; you can’t win!

Scripture references for poem below
(2 Pet.2;4-9; 1 Pet.4:17-18; Jn.3:15-18,36; 8:24; 14:6)
I think the teaching of the universal Fatherhood of God is a damnable heresy (2 Pet. 2:1). The Bible does NOT teach that God sees all people as His children. Jesus said to the religious rulers, “Ye are of your father the devil …” (John 8:44). There are only two families in the world; the children of God and the children of the devilNOT all people are God’s children! The Bible tells us in 2 Cor. 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: . . . A believer should not marry an unbeliever for they marry into the devil’s family and will have trouble with their father in law. When we discover God’s light, we must not have fellowship or compromise with darkness (1 Cor. 10:20-21). An unbeliever is NOT a child of God! Not yesterday, not today not tomorrow, not in eternity!

Ephes. 2:1-3 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; [2] Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: [3] Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others. (KJV) Belief in Christ takes us out of the devil’s family and into the family of God! (John 1:12-13; 3:3).

JUDGMENT IS COMING!
Chapter 3
SCRIPTURES REVEAL THE FINAL JUDGMENT AS:

Certain. Eccles. 11:9 Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. (KJV) Many of your choices in this life on Earth will be irreversible. They will be with you eternity. Judgment Day is a sure thing!

Universal. 2 Cor. 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (KJV) All believers must appear before Christ, to be judged by Him. Our destination is Heaven. We each will get what we deserve, according to everything we have done, after we were saved, good or bad, in our bodily life. Everything done for Christ shall stand, all else will be burned up. Good works do NOT save us. Unbelievers will stand before the Great White Throne. Their destination is Hell.

Righteous.  Romans 5:1-2 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: [2] By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. (KJV) We all shall stand before the Great Judge one day. Nothing can stop that! Our faith in Christ makes us righteous, not any thing that we do. The Father passes on Jesus’  righteousness to believers when we accept Him
(1 Cor. 1:30). We can stand before the Judgment  Seat with boldness and have no fear.

Decisive. 1 Cor. 15:50-53 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. [51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, [52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. [53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (KJV) We all face limitations. Those who have physical, mental, or emotional disabilities are especially aware of this. Some may be blind, but with faith, they can “see” Jesus! Some may be deaf, but with faith they can “hear” God’s Good News. Some may be lame, but with faith, they can they can walk in God’s abundant love. Faith lets people know that their disabilities are only temporary. The Bible tells us that we all will be given new bodies when Christ returns and that these bodies will be without disabilities, never to die or become sick. Thank You Jesus! This can give us hope in our present day suffering.

EternalHebrews 6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (KJV) Certain basic teachings are necessary for all believers to understand. These
include: faith is of utmost importance; it is stupidity    to try to be saved bygood deeds; the meaning of baptism; using spiritual gifts; the facts of resurrection and eternal life, and eternal judgment. Mature Christians should be teaching baby Christians the basics, then acting on what they know. Mature Christians will continue to learn from God’s Word until death takes them Home. Let us be concerned for about our immortal interests, let us flee to the Refuge set before us, let us be careful how we spend our precious time, let us depend on the merits of our Redeemer, and cling to the Truth of the Divine Word, that we may be found by Him in a peaceful service to Him.

Doctrine of baptisms has nothing to do with New Testament baptism. It refers to the washings in the Old Testament rituals, of which there were many.

Laying on of hands was also an Old Testament ritual. When a man brought an animal offering, he laid his hands on its head to signify that the animal was taking his place on the altar of sacrifice.

Resurrection of the dead was taught in the Old Testament, but now they needed to see that this referred to the resurrection of Christ and to the now living Christ.

Eternal judgment was taught in the Old Testament. Hebrews 6:2 is the only place in Scripture that this phrase is used, but its doctrine is clearly taught both in the Old and New Testaments. The verdicts of God’s judgments shall result either in eternal life in Heaven or eternal death in Hell (Mat.25:46; John 3:18).

JUDGMENT IS COMING!
Chapter 4
Judgment Day IsA Sure Thing!

Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. (KJV) God has a specific day planned for judgment.
Romans 2:16  In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. (KJV) On Judgment Day, God through Jesus Christ will judge all secrets of all people. Nothing will be able to be hidden from the Great Judge.
Romans 14:12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. (KJV) Every person who has ever lived will have to give an account to God for their actions (works, deeds), words and thoughts.
2 Cor. 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (KJV) ALL believers must stand before Christ, to be judged by Him. He will either reward us, or take away rewards we could have had, according to our hearts and lives.
2 Tim. 4:1  I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; (KJV) We should take Judgment Day very seriously, for God does! The Lord Jesus Christ will one day judge those living and resurrect the dead for judgment when He appears to set up His Kingdom.

Hebrews 9:27  And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: (KJV) All people must die once, and after that, they shall be judged by God.
Hebrews 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. (KJV) Millions fear the coming Judgment Day and the fierce firery wrath which will destroy all those who oppose the one and only TRUE God!
1 Peter 4:7  But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer. (KJV) We should live eagerly awaiting Christ’s return. Getting ready to meet Jesus means to live a lifestyle of  continual growth, in love for God and for others. Prayer and daily Bible study is a must. Judgment awaits.
2 Peter 3:7  But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. (KJV) The present day heavens and earth are being kept until God issues an order for them to be destroyed by fire. All godless people will one day be judged and sent to eternal destruction (Hell).
1 John 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. (KJV) The day of judgment is when all people will appear before Christ and be held accountable for their actions. Since God (Holy Spirit) lives in us through Christ, believers have no reason to fear this day. We are saved from punishment because of faith in Christ, even though we deserve it. But because of Jesus, we can look forward to the day of judgment, because it will mean the end of sin and the beginning of a Face-to-face relationship with Christ Jesus.
Jude 1:14-15  And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, [15] To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him. (KJV) Enoch is mentioned only briefly in Gen.5:21-24. These verses are quoted from an apocryphal book called the book of Enoch. Other places where Jesus is mentioned as coming with angels are Mat.16:27 and Mat.24:31. Daniel 7:10 speaks of God judging humanity in the presence of ten thousand times ten thousand angels. Judgment Day will be a very serious and sobering assembly.
Jude 1:24-25 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, [25] To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. (KJV) Jude’s letter ends as it begins, with great assurance to God’s TRUE children. To be faultless (sinless and perfect) is the supreme condition of the believer when he/she finally sees Christ Face to face. When Christ appears, and we are given our new bodies, we will be like Christ (1 John 3:2). Christ never sinned, and after we receive our new bodies, we shall never sin again, ever! Coming into Christ’s Presence will be the most wonderful experience we have ever had!

Jude wrote to people who were highly vulnerable to false teachings and were tempted with immoral living. Sound familiar? Jude told believers to remain firm in their faith and trust in God’s Promises. This was important because they were living in a time of increased apostasy (like today). We are living in the last days, and are much closer to the end than were those to whom Jude wrote. We too are vulnerable to doctrinal falsehoods. We too are tempted to give in to sin. Even though there is much false teaching around us, let us stand firm in our faith in God. Only He can keep us from falling, and only He guarantees that if we remain faithful, He will bring us into His Presence and give us everlasting joy. Thank You Jesus!
Rev. 11:18  And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth. (KJV) God gives rewards to His people according to what they deserve. All through the Old Testament, obedience to Him often brought reward in this life (Deut. 28), but obedience and instant rewards are not always linked together. If this were so, good people would always be rich, and suffering would always be a sign of sin. If we were quickly rewarded for every faithful deed we do here on Earth, pride would get to us, and we would only do good deeds for selfish reasons. It certainly is true that God will reward us for our earthly deeds (Rev. 20:12), the greatest reward being eternal life in His awesome and loving Presence. God shall judge sin!
Rev. 22:12  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. (KJV) Those who wash their robes are those who desire to purify themselves from a sinful life. It is these who shall be rewarded (eternal life in Heaven). It’s a daily battle against Satan and the forces of evil to remain faithful and ready for Christ’s return. In Eden, Adam and Eve were barred from any access to the tree of life because of their sin (Gen.3:22-24). In the new Earth, God’s people will eat from the tree of life because their sins have been removed by Christ’s death and resurrection. Those who eat the fruit of this tree will live forever. If you have trusted Jesus and His Work on the cross, Jesus has forgiven your sins, and you will have the right to eat from this tree.
Daniel 7:9-10  I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. [10] A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened. (KJV) I cannot begin to imagine Daniel’s thoughts when he was privileged to look down throught the centuries and “see” the Judgment Day. Daniel saw God judging millions of people as they stood before Him. We all must stand before the Almighty Judge and give an account of our lives one day. This is pretty serious stuff! Please do not think this is some sort of ‘fairy tale.’ What Daniel saw all those years ago, shall absolutely happen! It is told to us over and over again in God’s Word. If your life were judged by God today, what would He say? How would He judge you? Would you receive a reward or would He take away rewards that you could have had? How would you measure up? Or maybe you are not one of God’s people. If that is the case, I strongly suggest that you turn to Christ this very moment! For IF you do not belong to God, you shall receive NO rewards, and your permanent, eternal destination is the furnace of fire, where there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth which is Hell (see below). We should live each day, fully realizing that Jesus could come at any time, and that we must appear before Him to give account for how we used our lives.
Daniel 7:13-14 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. [14] And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed. (KJV) The one like a son of man is the Messiah (Christ). Jesus used this verse in Daniel to refer to Himself (Mat.26:64; Luke 21:27; John 1:51). The clouds of heaven picture the Son of Man’s divinity and magnificence. In the Bible, clouds represent His majesty and His awesome Presence. God’s glory appeared in a cloud in Exodus 16:10 and Exodus 19:9 at the giving of the law at Sinai.

Matthew 13:40-43 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. [41] The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; [42] And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. [43] Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear(KJV) At the end of this world, God’s trusted angels shall separate all evil from the good. There are true believers in churches today, and there are hypocrites, pretenders. But we should beware in our making judgments because only Christ is qualified to make the final separation. Only He knows a person’s heart. We do not. What is important is to judge our own response to God, not attempt to judge anothers’ heart and response.
Matthew 16:27  For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. (KJV) Christ Jesus has been given the authority to judge all the Earth (Mat.28.18; Rom.14:9-11; Phil. 2:9-11). Even though His judgment is already working in our lives, there shall be a final, future judgment when Christ returns (Mat.25:31-46), when everyone’s life is reviewed and evaluated. This refers to those who are saved during the Great Tribulation, for the church has been raptured. Judgment will not be confined to unbelievers; Christians too will face a judgment. Their eternal destiny is secure, but Jesus will look at how they handled gifts, opportunities, and responsibilities in order to determine their heavenly rewards. At the time of judgment, God will deliver the righteous and condemn the wicked. The church shall have been raptured before the Tribulation (1 Thes.4:13-18) and shall be judged at the Judgment Seat of Christ (Rom.14:10; 2 Cor.5:10; 1 Cor.3:10-17). We should never try to judge others’ salvation; that’s God’s work.
Rev. 1:7  Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen. (KJV) Christ shall return in the clouds, just as He left (Acts 1:9). Everyone shall see Him at the Second Coming, including those who killed Him. ALL peoples on Earth will mourn because of Him, some will rejoice, others shall dread His appearance. It will not be as the Rapture, in which only the selected ones (the church) shall see and hear Him come in the clouds (1 Thes.4:13-17). When He comes, judgment!
1 Cor. 15:20-28 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept. [21] For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. [22] For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. [23] But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. [24] Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. [25] For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. [26] The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. [27] For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith, all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. [28] And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. (KJV) Christ shall reign until ALL His enemies are under His Feet! (vs.25). When Christ completes His millennial rule, I believe He will return to His awesome place in the Godhead. Eventhough God the Father and God the Son are equal, and are one (John 10:30; 17:22), each Person has a special work to do and a specific area of sovereign control (vs.28). Christ is not inferior to the Father in any way. His Work is to defeat all evil on Earth. First He defeated sin and death on the Cross, and in the end days, He will defeat Satan and ALL evil forever. Even  though world events may seem out of control and justice may seem rare, God is still in control. God will allow evil to rage until He sends Jesus to Earth again. At that time, Christ will present to God a perfect new world, as it should have been from the beginning, before sin stepped in. There is a sequence in the resurrection; Christ Himself was the first to be raised. At His Coming at the Rapture, His redeemed people (the church) will then be resurrected. There will be two resurrections (see Dan.12:2 and Rev.20.4-7). The righteous (those who trust and accept Christ) will be raised first. The wicked (unbelievers, rejecters of Jesus) will be the last ones to rise. When they are raised, they shall stand before the Great White Throne Judgment (Rev.20:11-15). That will be the end of this world as we know it.

JUDGMENT IS COMING!
Chapter 5
No Escape From Judgment

Proverbs 1:24-31 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded; [25] But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: [26] I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; [27] When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. [28] Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: [29] For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord: [30] They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. [31] Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. (KJV) Do you really understand what God is saying in this Passage? His Words are fearful. What God is saying here is, I call and invite you to come to Me, you don’t listen. You pay no attention to Me. You ignore Me and My advice. You don’t want Me to correct you. Now, when trouble comes, I will laugh at you. Then you will call to Me, but I will not answer. You will look for me, but won’t find me. You turned your back on Me and have refused to obey Me. You wanted no part of me so now you will get what you deserve. This is what these verses say to me. In other words, God will take your rejection, your willful disobedience and your contempt for Him just so long, then He will turn away from you! Please do not let this happen to you. God is more than willing to make known His thoughts and His will to us. BUT, to receive His advice we must be willing to listen to Him and we must humble ourselves before Him. Pride puts a halt to most people’s relationship with Christ. Pride thinks more highly of our own wisdom and desires than of God’s. IF you think you know better than God, or feel you have no need of God’s love, wisdom and direction, you have a disastrous and destructive pride that shall lead you down that big, broad road right into Hell! BEWARE!
Proverbs 16:5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished. (KJV) Pride is a persistent voice that tells you your way is best. Any time that you listen to this voice, you resist God’s love and leadership. You actually convince yourself that you are well able to live without God or His help. This voice is entirely different from the Holy Spirit’s gentle urging. Whenever you want to do it your way and look down on other people, you are being pulled by pride, and that is of the devil! You must cast off  pride if you want God’s help, now and in the future. Judgment Day gets closer each day.
Proverbs 29:1 He, that being often reproved hardeneth his neck, shall suddenly be destroyed, and that without remedy. (KJV) To keep making the same mistake over and over is stupidity. And IF the  mistake is refusing God’s invitations or rejecting His commands, the end result will be disastrous. God will try many times to reach a person through the urging of the Holy Spirit, but He will finally quit trying and turn away. Make sure you are not stubborn and stiff-necked. Pride is a sin to be judged!
Ezekiel 7:19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the Lord: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumblingblock of their iniquity. (KJV) Many people allow their love of money to lead them deep into sin. God clearly states He would destroy them because of they are putting something first, before God. Money is a strange master, with great power to lead people away from God and into sin. Paul said that the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Tim. 6:10). Money is a gift of God, and it should NEVER separate us from Him. Is money’s power pulling you away from God? He is the only true source of peace, joy, contentment and satisfaction. Beware! Judgment Day approaches. Make yourself ready.
Zeph. 1:18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord's wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land. (KJV) Money in itself is not evil, but it is absolutely useless to save us. I don’t care how rich a person is, when Judgment Day arrives, and it shall, their silver or gold or possessions; or their power or fame, will mean absolutely nothing in God’s eyes! They will NOT be able to tempt or bribe God with their wealth. God has an abundance of gold; the street in Heaven is gold. Believers shall walk on gold one day! Only Christ’s redemptive work on the cross at Calvary on our behalf matters for eternity. Christ Jesus, and He alone has paid the ransom for us when we believe in Him. Christ should be your wealth! Col. 3:25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. (KJV) ALL wrongdoers will get what is coming to them for the wrong things they do, for with God, no one gets preferential or favored treatment. He judges everyone, ALL people, by the same right and just standard.
Hebrews 2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; (KJV) If you pay no attention at all to the tremendous Gift (salvation by faith in Christ), that God offers; if you reject and neglect God’s offer of love to you, you shall NOT escape, but be cast into the fiery furnace (Hell). Don’t say God has not offered you salvation, for He has! You choose not to accept it.
Hebrews 12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven: (KJV) One day, this world as we know it, shall be destroyed. Only God’s Kingdom will last. Only those who trust and obey, and follow Christ will be part of this immovable Kingdom. No matter what happens, our future is built on Christ, our solid foundation (Ps.18:31; Isa. 28:16; Mat.7:24; 16:18; Eph.2:20; 1 Pet.2:6) and it cannot be destroyed. Christ Jesus shall see you through to the end!

JUDGMENT IS COMING!
Chapter 6
The Judge Is Christ Jesus
ALL judgment is committed to Him.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. (KJV) God gave Jesus authority over Heaven and Earth. On that authority, Jesus told His disciples to reach out to the lost and make more disciples as they preached, baptized, and taught. It is with this same authority, that Christ Jesus shall judge the world.
John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: (KJV) Judgment will be done by the Father through the Son as His voluntary Agent.
John 5:24-29 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. [25] Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. [26] For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; [27] And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. [28] Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, [29] And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (KJV) Listen to Me, Jesus is saying. If you hear Jesus’ Words, and believe in Him who sent Him (the Father) you have eternal life. You shall NOT be condemned (sentenced to Hell), because you have passed from death (spiritual) to life (eternal). Spiritual death is an unbeliever, a child of the devil, it’s someone without God who never trusted Jesus’ redemptive Work on the cross.  Jesus does NOT lie! He states above that the time is coming, actually has already come, when those who are spiritually dead will hear the Voice of the Son of God, and when they hear it, will come to life (born again, John 1:12-13; 3:3). Since the Father Himself is the source of life, in the same way He has made His Son Jesus to be the source of life.

And God has given him (Jesus) authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man. Don’t be surprised by this, Jesus says, because the time is coming when ALL the dead will hear His Voice and come out of their graves; and those who have done good will rise to eternal life, but those who have done evil will rise and be condemned to an eternal Hell (Dan 12:2). For more on resurrections, see page 11.

That the Father appointed the Son of man as a Judge in our own nature is an absolute and beautiful picture of divine wisdom in redemption. Since Jesus was 100% Man, He knows mankind completely, so who better to be our Judge? Even if I could object, I certainly would not! I think it’s great!
Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. (KJV) God the Father has fixed a day in which He will judge the whole world with Truth and justice by means of a Man He has chosen, who is none other than Jesus, our Saviour and Lord, whom He has raised from the dead.
Acts 17:31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead. (KJV) God has a specific day planned for judgment. He will NOT cancel the date.
Romans 2:16  In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. (KJV)  On Judgment Day, God through Jesus Christ will judge the secret thoughts of ALL people. Nothing will be able to be hidden from the Great Judge.
Romans 14:12   So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God. (KJV) Every person who has ever lived will have to give an account to God for their actions, words and thoughts.
2 Cor. 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (KJV) All believers  must stand before Christ at the Judgment Seat, to be judged by Him. He will either reward us, or take away rewards we could have had, according to our hearts and lives. Unbelievers will stand before the Great White Throne, see pages 8 & 11.
2 Tim. 4:1  I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; (KJV) We should take Judgment Day very seriously . . . God does! The Lord Jesus Christ will one day judge those living and resurrect the dead for judgment when He appears to set up his Kingdom. Who shall judge the quick and the dead means the living and the dead.

At his appearing and his kingdom. Christ’s appearing and His Kingdom are not the same thing. I think His appearing is when He comes at the Rapture, for the church. His kingdom refers to His Second Coming, when He returns to Earth to establish His Kingdom. TWICE He will judge. He will judge His people (children of God) when He takes them out of this world (Judgment Seat of Christ). He will also judge those who turn to God in the Great Tribulation. His second judgment will be for unbelievers at the Great White Throne. ALL people, both believers and unbelievers, will come before Him for judgment at one of these judgments. Those at the Judgment Seat go to Heaven. Those at the Great White Throne go to Hell for eternity. Believers will be judged to see if we are to receive a reward or not. Unbelievers will be judged to see how severe a punishment they will receive in Hell.
Luke 12:47-48 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. [48] But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more. (KJV) People who know what God wants should take Judgment Day very seriously . . .

(KJV) People who know what God wants them to do, but does not do it, will be punished much more severely. We must take to heart what Christ says in His Word, seriously. Most people do not do that (Mat.7:13-14). God always gives people enough insight as to know right from wrong. It is built in within us! Even the most wicked person knows when they do wrong, and also knows many things that are right and should be done, but neglects to do it; therefore ALL people are without excuse for their sin. I truly believe that, according to Luke 12:47-48, there shall be different penalties for different people. There will be different degrees of future punishment according to the knowledge the person had. But remember, even heathens know right from wrong and know of the future judgment to come. Just as there are different degrees of punishment in Hell, there are different degrees of rewards in Heaven. The Judge shall do right by us!
2 Tim. 4:8  Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. (KJV) Paul knew there was a crown of righteousness waiting for him, that the righteous Judge, would give him on that Day,  and not only to him, but to everyone who looks forward to Christ’s Coming. Paul was about to be beheaded for his stand for Jesus. Paul saw his life as a sacrifice. Even if he had to die, Paul was content, knowing that he had helped the Philippians live for Christ. When you’re totally committed to serving Christ, sacrificing to build the faith of others brings a joyous reward. (Phil.2:17). What a loving, obedient servant the apostle Paul was.

JUDGMENT IS COMING!
Chapter 7
Eternal Judgment

The decisions God shall make on Judgment Day will be absolutely final, immediately. There will be NO hung jury, NO postponing the verdict, NO stay of execution, NO postponementof the date because your lawyer didn’t show up, NO bribing the Judge, etc. Your time is up! The verdict will be right there, right now. Judgment decisions shall be eternal! Not even the most gifted, silver tongued, public speaker will be able to talk the Judge out of His decision.
Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt. (KJV) Daniel was privileged to “see” way down through the years. He saw two resurrections, one for the righteous and one for the wicked, with the eternal results of each completely opposite. Daniel’s reference to a bodily resurrection of both the saved and the lost was a sharp contrast from common belief of that day, and today! Many people think that when you die, that’s it. NOT so! Your soul is eternal and will live forever, in one of two places.
Matthew 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. (KJV) A fan is a winnowing fork used to toss wheat in the air to separate the good wheat from worthless chaff at harvest time. The good wheat is kept, the worthless chaff is burned. This verse does not say everlasting or eternal, it says  unquenchable fire, in other words, a fire that burns non-stop for eternity. Unrepentant people (unbelievers, rejecters of Christ) will be judged and eternally punished in the unquenchablefires of Hell, just like the worthless chaff was burned. Those who repent and believe will be saved, like the good wheat.
Matthew 18:8 Wherefore if thy hand or thy foot offend thee, cut them off, and cast them from thee: it is better for thee to enter into life halt or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire(KJV) Everlasting fire. Any relationship, practice, or activity that leads us to sin or tempts us in any way, must be stopped. Jesus tells us that it would be better to go to Heaven with one hand than to Hell with both. Sin affects much more than our hands; it affects our minds and hearts, and could send us to Hell. Without Christ, Hell is the only option.
Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels(KJV) Again, everlasting fire. God will separate His obedient followers from pretenders and unbelievers. The proof of our belief (our faith), is how we act. To treat all persons as if they are Jesus is NOT easy. What we do for others shows what we really think about Jesus. To disobey Christ is to be a follower of and child of the devil.
Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal(KJV) Again everlasting firealso life eternal.  Eternal punishment shall take place in Hell (the lake of fire, or second death). It is the place of punishment after death (for eternity) for all those who refuse to repent and insist on rejecting Jesus.
John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (KJV) The verses I have brought forth are all saying the same thing . . . there are two destinations in eternity . . . Heaven and Hell. Where we go is our choice! Those who rebel against Christ will be resurrected too, but they shall feel God’s wrath and hear His judgment against them and be sentenced to eternity apart from Him. Some people want to live well on Earth; they completely ignore God, and they think death is final rest. “When you’re gone, you’re gone” is what they think. . . and this is wrong! The Bible does NOT tell us that in any place. Over and over again the Bible tells us the exact opposite. Jesus tells unbelievers that death is NOT the end of it all. There shall be a judgment to face, and an eternal sentence to hear. Believe God!
Hebrews 10:28-29 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: [29] Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? (KJV) Those who disobeyed the Law of Moses were put to death without mercy when they were judged guilty from the evidence of two or more witnesses. So, consider this: those who despise the fire, or second death). It is the place of punishment after death (for eternity) for all those who refuse to repent and insist on rejecting Jesus.
John 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. (KJV) The verses I have brought forth are all saying the same thing . . . there are two destinations in eternity . . . So, consider this: those who despise the have your wish in the future eternal life as well, for you will be separated from Him forever (2 Thes.1:8-9). No one is forced to choose eternal separation from God, and no one suffers this fate by accident. Jesus invites all people to open the door of their hearts to Him (Rev. 3:20). If you choose to open your heart’s door to Jesus,  you shall have everlasting fellowship with Him, now in this world and forever more!
Rev. 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (KJV) For ever and ever.  Satan is very powerful, but his power is NOT eternal, like God’s power is! Satan shall fall, he shall meet his doom. He began his evil work in mankind at the very beginning (Gen.3:1-6) and he continues it today. But he shall be destroyed when he is thrown into the lake of fire (Hell). The devil will be released from the Abyss (his prison, Rev. 20:7) for a short while, but when he is cast into the lake of fire, he will NEVER be released. He will never be a threat to anyone again. Hell is real! It does exist! Don’t let any false teacher tell you differently. Believe God and His Word, not man’s made-up commandments (Mat.15:9).
Rev. 21:7-8 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. [8] But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (KJV) These verses again tell us there are eternal destinations, Heaven and Hell.
There are some amazing features about the end times. #1 The creation of the new heavens and a new Earth do not affect the position or condition of the lake of fire or of the lost unbelievers. #2 There is no possibility of sin, which made man become fearful, unbelieving, liars, murderers, etc., etc. Sin and all evil are forever shut out of the new Creation. #3 The lake of fire is eternal, for it is the second (eternal) death. There will be no third resurrection. A verdict of Hell means eternal separation from God, and there is nothing as fearful and awful as that.
Rev. 22:14-15 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. [15] For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. (KJV) Here is yet another verse that speaks of there being two distinct locations in eternity. They that do his commandments are believers that trust and obey our Lord Jesus. They shall enter in through the gates into the city (New Jerusalem, Heaven). Verse 15 clearly states that anyone who rejects Jesus’ redemptive offer are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie (unbelievers who have not been washed in His precious Blood 1 Peter 1:18-19) shall NOT enter the city (Heaven) but shall be condemned to Hell by God’s shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. (KJV) The soul that sins shall die. As to God’s judgment, every man was, is, and shall be dealt with, according to his works, either under the old covenant of works, or the new covenant of grace. All souls are in the Hand of the great Creator. NO one will perish for the sins of some one else. We ALL have sinned, and our souls would be lost, if God dealt with us according to His holy law; but we are invited to come to Christ and when we do, Jesus’ righteousness is applied to us. If a good man had a wicked son, whose character and actions were opposite of his parent’s, do you think he would escape God’s Divine vengeance because his father was righteous? Absolutely not! And if a wicked man had a son who walked before God as righteous, this man would certainly not perish for his father’s sins.
Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (KJV) I recently had someone ask about this verse and the one above. Can we be held guilty for something Adam did thousands of years ago? Many feel it isn’t right for God to judge us because of Adam’s sin. BUT, we are NOT judged for Adam’s sin, we are judged for our own sin. Each of us confirms our union with Adam each single day by our own sins. We are made of the same stuff.

JUDGMENT IS COMING!
Chapter 8
New Jerusalem, Description of Heaven

The appearance of this city is the epitome of beauty, refined loveliness, and abundant peace and joy. Grand language describes her excellence, and all the words in any language could not rightfully paint her portrait. The thought of her coming glory is like a spiritual pick-me-up for those of us who grow weary on our pilgrim’s journey here on Earth.

New Jerusalem is most likely a postmillennial city, coming into the picture the end of the Millennium and the beginning of eternity. This city was must certainly have been in the mind of Christ when He said, “I go to prepare a place for you” (John 14:2).

New Jerusalem will be to eternity what the earthly Jerusalem is to the Millennium. The earthly Jerusalem does not pass away, but it shall take second place in eternity. Righteousness shall reign in Jerusalem; and it will dwell in New Jerusalem. Imperfection and rebellion will exist even in the earthly Jerusalem during the Millennium; but perfection and the complete absence of sin will be 100% in the heavenly city. New Jerusalem shall surpass the earthly city of Jerusalem, but this will not make her sad. She will be able to say in the spirit of John the Baptist, She that hath thebridegroom is the bride (John 3:29). New Jerusalem is the eternal dwelling place of the church, the home which we look forward to with great joy.

Rev. 21:9-10 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb's wife. [10] And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, (KJV)
The Earth’s finest cities have nothing to begin to compare with New Jerusalem. Earth’s cities are built on an earthly foundation and are built up from that base. This City comes down out of Heaven. She begins in Heaven, and Christ Jesus is the Builder. Even though the city comes down out of Heaven, there is no indication that she comes down to the Earth. The heavenly city never comes to earth but hovers like a planet as I see it. This passage of Scripture leaves the city hanging in midair. All activity and glory will revolve around this city.
Rev. 21:11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; (KJV) The display of God’s glory strikes terror to unbelievers, but believers will be able to behold His glory for we shall be clothed in the righteousness of Christ!Consider the Presence of God makes the city the source of glory for the universe. All blessings radiates from the city. The Presence of God and Christ explains Jesus’ Words: I am the light of the world (John 9:5). God is light.

Verses 12 through 20 describe in detail the structure and beauty of New Jerusalem. See for yourself.
Rev. 21:21-23 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. [22] And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. [23] And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. (KJV) I don’t know about you, but I simply cannot picture New Jerusalem, no way! I read what the Bible states but I cannot see it in my mind. But, I do know one thing . . . and that is that it will be the most beautiful thing we have ever seen! The gates, wow! One single pearl for each gate, now that had to be some huge oysters to produce that size pearls! One day I am going to see these gates! How about you? The Temple is never associated with the church, and since New Jerusalem is the Home of the church, there is no Temple since we (our bodies) are the temple of God (1 Cor.3:16-17. 6:19). But in New Jerusalem the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And there shall be no sun and moon for light, for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. Light its highest sense  is applied to Christ as the “Sun of righteousness” (Mal.4:2; Luke 2:32; John 1:7-9). And God is called “the Father of lights” (James 1:17). God and the Lamb by their Presence, shall be our Light in New Jerusalem. New Jerusalem will be independent of the sun and moon for light and life. What I have brought forth here about the Home of TRUE believers is very brief. Hopefully it will be enough to consider the absolute beauty, joy and peace that will be there.

JUDGMENT IS COMING!
Chapter 9
Lake of Fire, Description of Hell

The scribes and Pharisees were enemies to the Gospel of Christ, and so they were enemies to lost souls. Camouflaged devotion (godliness) will be taken very seriously by God. There are many cults today who are like the Pharisees. Jesus had nothing good to say about them then and I know He doesn’t now!
Matthew 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell? (KJV) Wow! Pretty strong language! Generation of vipers! What does Jesus mean?  He means that they are the offspring of snakes! Satan disguised himself as a serpent in the Garden of Eden, and the Pharisees of then and now, are offsprings of snakes! They are not going to escape the damnation of hell! There is a damnable doctrine of the universal brotherhood of man and the universal Fatherhood of God, but friend, God does NOT claim you if you have rejected Christ Jesus. The only way to become a child of God is to receive Christ. “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them thatbelieve on his name” (John 1:12). IF you refuse, IF you reject Christ, you shall NOT escape the damnation of hell!

Jesus died for your sins because He loved you, but if you reject Him, He shall become your Judge, and cast you into Hell.
So, what is Hell like? Below are some verses that make it extremely clear! These are NOT my words, but God’s Words from His Holy Bible.

What Is Hell?

You are not sent to Hell for being a bad person any more than you are sent to Heaven for being a good person. We ALL deserve to spend eternity in Hell (Romans 3:22-23). Even though God clearly states that those who reject the salvation offered through His Son, Jesus Christ, will spend eternity in this place of torment, He repeatedly gives each person ample opportunity, and MANY chances to choose abundant life on earth and eternal life in Heaven (2 Peter 3:9). If you haven’t made that choice yet, or if you have decided and want a better understanding of what your non-believing friends will have to face, consider these facts about Hell from the pages of Scripture.

1. What Is Hell Like? Hell is a place of unending, isolated torment (Luke 16:19-31).
2. Who Will Go to Hell? ALL those whose names do not appear in the Book of Life are destined to everlasting punishment (Rev. 20:11-15).
3. What Is the Worst Punishment of Hell? Hell’s worst punishment is everlasting separation from God’s Presence, His goodness and His love (2 Thes. 1:7-10).
4. Do souls in Hell have a second chance? NO! Once a soul is committed to the everlasting destruction of Hell, there is NO reprieve, NO second chance, NO pardons, NO exit doors, and NO amount of prayers can get you out (Heb. 9:27).

• Everlasting punishment. Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.  [KJV]
•
Everlasting fire.  Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:  [KJV]
•
Everlasting burnings.  Isaiah 33:14 The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?  [KJV]
•
A furnace of fire. Matthew 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  [KJV] Matthew 13:50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  [KJV]
•
A lake of fire.  Rev. 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.  [KJV]
Fire and brimstone.  Rev. 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:  [KJV]
•
Unquenchable fire. Matthew 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.  [KJV]
•
Devouring fire.  Isaiah 33:14 above.
•
Second death. Rev. 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.  [KJV]
•
Outer darkness. Matthew 8:12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.  [KJV]
Matthew 22:13
Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth [KJV] Matthew 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.  [KJV]
• No way out. Luke 16:26
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.  [KJV]
• God is not there.  2 Thes. 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power. [KJV]

I could go on and on with a multitude of verses from God. If this doesn’t make an unbeliever sit up and consider Hell seriously, nothing will. If you have not believed God (1 John 5:101-2) and accepted His Son as your Saviour and Lord, I beg you, don’t wait a moment longer, for you know not when your time on Earth will be no more. Jesus can be your Saviour, OR your Judge on Judgment Day!

HELL? or HEAVEN?

Those in Hell shall live in agony,
Then, they’ll not doubt, God’s supremacy.
While on Earth, they rejected the Lord,
Living a life of pleasure, they adored.

Those in Heav’n don’t doubt God’s sovereignty,
Our Almighty King, of eternity.
They accepted the Lord, while on Earth,
Living a life of service, and great worth.

Your soul is eternal, did you not know?
With two destinations, as to where it could go.
Reject Jesus, and for you it’s Hell,
Accept Jesus, and in Heav’n you’ll dwell.

Before you this day, just two roads lie,
Which road will you choose, before you die?
The wide road leads to Hell’s agony,
The narrow road, to Heav’n’s serenity.

Some people think you have second chances of Heaven. The Bible does NOT teach this! Heb.9:27 tells us it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Appointed means to await, to be reserved. We either have a state of joy in awaiting Judgment Day, OR an agonizing and fearful expectation of the verdict to come. After the judgment comes the full and final state of eternal joy, OR eternal woe. There are NO second chances after you die, and NO amount of intercessory prayers on your behalf will ever give you access to Heaven. The Bible makes this quite clear. You must decide now, while you live, Heaven or Hell.

You must choose Jesus and the narrow road
to reach Heaven!
